Travelers Club of Türkiye, “Türkiye Gezginler Kulübü” have been established in Istanbul in the year of 1998. Now, we have 260 male and female members from all walks of life, ambassadors, businessmen, famous Travelers, travel writers, singers, medical doctors, housewives, and the young climbers like Nasuh Mahruki who climbed the Mount Everest.
Our aim is to facilitate the meeting of all Travelers below unique umbrella so that they can share their experiences, activities and adventures. We provide information to our travelling friends before their trips about the countries they will visit, tips to prevent loss of money and time.

Real Travellers
"The feet go to that place that the heart goes." Afghan saying.
Our public meetings are on the first Wednesday evening for four months (March, May, October, December). Our meeting place is Armada Hotel in Sultanahmet area Istanbul. It is a mutual consultation among Travelers, adventurers through guest speakers, slide and video shows. Sometimes ethnic music groups and international dancers also attend. We also organize "Nation Nights"

Young Travellers
Our young members (who were born after 1960) meet once in a month. Visiting famousTurkish Travelers, organizing home meetings with documentary DVD and slide shows,happy hours at bars, picnics, national and city tours.
Travellers Clubs
Up to now, we have been visited by members of Los Angeles Adventures Club, Travelers Club of Finland, Denmark, Norway, Madurai (India) Sweden, Vancouver, Holland and Baltimore. Also our members have visited Los Angeles Adventures Club and Travelers Club of Finland.Club House
Our club house is a restored historic three store building in Sultanahmet Area, Istanbul. There is a library and a special guest house. In our building we also have terrace where you can have a tea under the shadow of the Blue Mosque. You can also hire a bicycle from our centre to visit the historical island.Guest House
Close to Taksim area (Dolapdere), we have a small guest house. It is basic and ideal for one or two backpackers stay. It is heated with natural gas. If you apply us, it is free of charge.Street Festivals
Time to time we have organized with Romans in our neighborhood three Street and art festivals in front of our Club House in Sultanahmet.
Travel Awards
Travelers Club of Türkiye presents each year “Türkiye's Best Awards”. Categories are travel story, photograph, the best travellery magazine, the best travel addition, the best travel television and radio programs.Books Published
We have published three books entitled “Sefername”, there are over 50 travel stories of Turkish Travelers in it. Second one is “Environment Poems Antology”. Also nine of our members published their own travel books. The president Prof Kural himself has prepared 13 travelling books.
